However, I noticed that the paint on the hair flakes a bit, but it’s nothing too serious. That said, the body looks just as good as before, going for a more realistic and detailed sculpt rather than a cartoony one, and that carries over to the paint as well, with plenty of wash to bring it all out. The head here is entirely new, with a wicked smile on his face to signify his villainy. Since Thailog is just a clone of Goliath, it’s no surprise that he uses the same sculpt. Aside from that, the box is collector-friendly like usual, with only a bit of tape and plastic ties to remove. The illustration here looks amazing, with great details and a thundering background, and I don’t think anything else in this line will top it. The box here is the same size as Goliath, which isn’t surprising since most of the figure here is Goliath re-use, and while I did enjoy the packaging art used for him, Thailog’s is so much cooler. Of course, all the bigger retailers like Target and BBTS and whatnot will be getting him in soon. While he was meant to be released next month at the start of 2022, some comic stores got him early around Christmastime, and I just had to pick him up. Now we’ve gotten the second figure in the line, and it’s his evil clone Thailog. He’s definitely near perfect in my eyes, with the QC regarding the wing joints being my only complaint, and I was eager to get everyone else they put out. Gargoyles (Neca) (Neca)It’s been only a few months since NECA dropped the first figure in their Gargoyles line, Goliath, and he proved to be a hit.
